Challenge

A small brand with big ambitions, on a very crowded shelf.

Specialty coffee is a crowded shelf. Stranger Espresso needed a brand with enough confidence to stand next to the establishment, enough warmth to pull regulars in from the footpath, and enough flexibility to live across packaging, signage, social and a growing wholesale program. All of it had to feel unmistakably theirs, without watering down the personality that made them worth visiting in the first place.

How we delivered. A brand that pours as well as the coffee.

We built a complete identity system covering logo, typography, colour, voice and tone, designed to scale from a single café to a wholesale roastery. We designed packaging that holds its own on a busy retail shelf. We launched a website that tells the story, sells the beans and books trade enquiries. And we produced a full content library, spanning café, product and lifestyle photography, that gives the team months of social and campaign material without starting from zero each time.
